Virginia Agricultural Show 2026

We were delighted to attend the Virginia Agricultural Show 2026, joining the many local families, businesses, community groups and exhibitors who came together for a fantastic day celebrating rural life and community spirit.

This year, Blackwater Training was especially pleased to support the show by sponsoring two categories in the Home Industries section:

• Class 342 – Four Home-Made Biscuits, Any Variety
• Class 343 – Four Home-Made Oatmeal Biscuits

There was a brilliant selection of entries, showcasing the talent and creativity within our local community. We would like to congratulate the winners of both classes, as well as everyone who took the time to enter.

Events like the Virginia Agricultural Show play an important role in bringing people together, celebrating local traditions and creating opportunities for people of all ages to get involved in community life.

As a rural social enterprise, supporting strong, inclusive and connected communities is at the heart of our work at Blackwater. We were very happy to contribute to this year's show and to support an event that has such a strong place in the local community.
